Chris Coombes Wrist Point Canaletto.jpeg

Pointing to the location on Horse Guards Parade painted by Canaletto in 1749 where I broke the wrist shown in 2009.

Canaletto’s 'London: The Old Horse Guards from St James’s Park', was completed exactly 240 years before I broke my left wrist at the location I am pointing to with my left hand. The painting is shown here on view at Tate Britain on long term loan from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation. The accident location can be found on a modern day map here.
