Manresa. 1998

Documenting a visit to Manresa, Spain while a student at Chelsea College of Art, Manresa Road. I had found online that Manresa had a cement factory so the intention was to bring back some Manresa cement in order to help make an ashtray in the shape of the letter C. This would capitalise on the significance of the letter C to include smoking, the names of myself and Colin Cina, the College head, among other connections. I took with me copies of the college prospectus which I gave to two Manresa children
